A beautiful story. Remember, you reap what you sow. One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers. That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual. On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. "Really?" she heard whispered. "I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked me so much," were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on. Several years later,
one of the students was killed in Viet Nam and his teacher attended
the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman
in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The church
was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last
walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin.
As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. "Were you Mark's math teacher?" he asked. She nodded: "yes." Then he said: "Mark talked about you a lot." After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher. "We want to show you something," his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket. "They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it." Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him. "Thank you so much for doing that," Mark's mother said. "As you can see, Mark treasured it." All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home." Chuck's wife said, "Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album." "I have mine too," Marilyn said. "It's in my diary." Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. "I carry this with me at all times," Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: "I think we all saved our lists." That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again. The density of people in society is so thick that we
forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one-day
will be. So please, tell the people you love and care for, that
they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late. If you've received this, it is because someone cares
for you and it means there is probably at least someone for whom you
care. If you're "too busy" to take those few minutes right
now to forward this message on, would this be the VERY first time you
didn't do that little thing that would make a difference in your relationships? Remember, you reap what you sow. |

The Rain-Thomas Kinkaid
This announcement usually meant she had been pondering
some "What are you thinking?" I asked. "The rain!" she began, "is like sin,
and the windshield After the chill bumps raced up my arms I was able to
respond. Then my curiosity broke in. How far would this little
girl take "We keep on sinning, and God just keeps on forgiving
us." Isn't it distressing to know that when you forward
this message Funny how we can be more worried about what other people

The Brick!!!
Read this today if you are too busy!! You'll see. A young and successful executive was traveling down a
neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching
for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he
thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead,
a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and
backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry
driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed
him up against a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and
who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that
brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?"
The young boy was apologetic. "Please, mister...please, I'm sorry
but I didn't know what else to do," He pleaded. "I threw the
brick because no one else would stop..." With tears dripping down
his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked
car. "It's my brother, "he said. "He rolled off the curb
and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up." Now sobbing,
the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get
him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."

This is a beautiful photo of a giant flag in Arizona.
The photo is authentic and un-retouched. The picture was taken on regular Kodak 35 mm film. The person who took the picture couldn't believe the image created by the sun's rays. Nice of them to share with the world! For those that prefer to think that God is not watching over us. ![]() |

A FRIEND (Nice Story) One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle.It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd. I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him. So I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives." He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!" There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends. He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him. Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are goanna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday! "He just laughed and handed me half the books. Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors, we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown, and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speakGraduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous. Today was one of those days.I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!" He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. "Thanks," he said. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends... I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story. "I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile."Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and Dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize its depth. Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others.

SPECIAL GROCERY LIST
Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her
face, walked into a -grocery store. She approached the owner of the store
in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries.
She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work,
they had seven children and they needed food. John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she
leave his store at once. Visualizing the family needs, she said: "Please,
sir! I will bring you the money just as soon as I can." John told
her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a charge account
at his store. Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard
the conversation between the two. The customer walked forward and told
the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family.
The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, "Do you have a grocery
list?" Louise replied, "Yes sir." "OK" he said,
"put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list
weighs, I will give you that amount in groceries." Louise, hesitated
a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her purse and took out
a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece
of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed. The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the
scales went down and stayed down. The grocer, staring at the scales, turned
slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, "I can't believe it."
The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the
other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to
put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more.
The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece
of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement. It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said: THE POWER OF PRAYER: When you read this, say a prayer. That's all
you have to do. Just stop right now, and say a prayer of thanks for your
own good fortune. Then please let all your friends and relatives see this
testimony in faith. God to heal the sick, provide food for the hungry, clothes and shelter
for those that don't have as we do. Amen & Amen |

One Dollar and Eleven Cents.
" I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist. " His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?" "We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'm sorry but I can't help you," the pharmacist said, softening a little. "Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs." The pharmacist's brother was a well-dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of a miracle does your brother need?" " I don't know," Tess replied with her eyes welling up. I just know he's really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it, so I want to use my money." " How much do you have?" asked the man from Chicago. "One dollar and eleven cents," Tess answered barely audibly. "And it's all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to." "Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man. "A dollar and eleven cents---the exact price of a miracle for little brothers. " He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said. "Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the miracle you need." That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specializing
in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed free of charge and it wasn't
long until Andrew was home again and doing well. Mom and Dad were happily
talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place. That
surgery," her Mom whispered. "Was a real miracle? I wonder how
much it would have cost?" In our lives, we never know how many miracles we will need. A miracle
is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law. |

Don't underestimate the power of Prayer!
I found it believable -- angels have walked beside me all my life
-- and they still do. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have
been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help
this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she
could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked
her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify
him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the
alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified,
he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for
her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She
asked if they would ask the man one question? Diane was curious as to
why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered,
because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side
of her." Moral of the story: Don't underestimate the power of Prayer!
Gives ya goose bumps, doesn't it! |

God and the Spider
During World War II, a US marine was separated from his unit on a Pacific island. The fighting had been intense, and in the smoke and the crossfire he had lost touch with his comrades.
As he waited, he prayed, "Lord, if it be your will, please protect me. Whatever your will though, I love you and trust you. Amen." After praying, he lay quietly listening to the enemy begin to draw close. He thought, "Well, I guess the Lord isn't going to help me out of this one." Then he saw a spider begin to build a web over the front of his cave.
As he watched, listening to the enemy searching for him all the while, the spider layered strand after strand of web across the opening of the cave. "Hah, he thought. "What I need is a brick wall and what the Lord has sent me is a spider web. God does have a sense of humor." As the enemy drew closer he watched from the darkness of his hideout and could see them searching one cave after another. As they came to his, he got ready to make his last stand. To his amazement, however, after glancing in the direction of his cave, they moved on. Suddenly, he realized that with the spider web over the entrance, his cave looked as if no one had entered for quite a while. "Lord, forgive me," prayed the young man. "I had forgotten that in you a spider's web is stronger than a brick wall." We all face times of great trouble. When we do, it is so easy to |
